MAY 2008 - Record sales!
We are pleased to say that we have experienced our best first quarter sales ever at the beginning of this year. The figures have been helped by the very successful launch of the new model WA80 from Altendorf and increased Kundig sales - including another Kundig Brilliant sander with tilting abrasive head

March 2006 – KUNDIG OBLIQUE SANDING

The latest innovation from the Swiss sanding experts – Oblique sanding.

The abrasive head is turned at an angle allowing sanding in the “Shear plain”.

As has been proven in many cutting applications, a better finish is achieved when there is a shear angle as opposed to a traditional 90 degree attack angle. See - "Sanders" section.

September 2005 – HOFFMANN JOINTING IN STOCK

We will shortly be stocking the Hoffmann MU2 jointing system.

The Hoffmann Dovetail Key draws two wood components together as the Key is inserted. Thus producing a joint efficiently, accurately and without any damage to the finished surface. For more details see “Products” - “Misc Machines”

July 2005 – KUNDIG SANDING AGENCY AGREED

We are very pleased to announce that with effect from July 2005, we have been appointed official distributors for the Swiss speedsander manufacturers , Kundig.

The continuing sales success of Kundig UK has now created a need for greater market representation and we are pleased to announce that we have been chosen to become part of the worldwide Kundig operation.

June 2005 – NEW ENTRY LEVEL ALTENDORF LAUNCH

Due for official launch during the latter part of 2005, the new Altendorf WA 6 will offer tried-and-tested Altendorf quality at an unbelievable price.

The WA 6 will be the smallest Altendorf on the market. Despite its compact dimensions and low price, the WA 6 will have a wealth of features. From the tried and tested 1400 / 2000 / 2600 mm Altendorf sliding table to the high-precision rip and crosscut mitre fences.

If you are considering changing your old saw at some point later in the year or possibly buying an entry level machine, you can contact us now and we will forward details on the WA6 before the UK launch date.

2004 - ALTENDORF NEWS

No more calculating and re-checking measurements: 
DUPLEX with dimensional correction.

Anyone who has to cut mitres frequently will welcome the dimensional correction facility that Altendorf now offer for DUPLEX and DUPLEX D mitre fences with an additional length compensation scale. The length of the cut is set manually as a function of the mitre. You therefore no longer need to make fiddly calculations and recheck measurements with a ruler. And since trial cuts can also be dispensed with, you will save not only on time, but on materials too.
